Fred Killian is currently responsible for the management of properties in the District of Columbia, Maryland, Virginia, and North Carolina all of which are regulated under LIHTC, and HUD Section 8.  He also serves as an advisor regarding construction-related matters for properties within the portfolio as well as for prospective acquisitions by corporate clients.

Mr. Killian joined CT in 1994 as supervisor of maintenance and purchasing.  He successfully completed the recovery of a distressed 370-unit complex which included 200-unit rehabilitation for the Federal Home Loan Mortgage Corporation.  He came to CT with ten years’ experience in residential construction management and project management.  In his role as consultant in construction related matters, Mr. Killian advises developers on any number of issues from long lasting inexpensive interior and exterior finishes to interactive security and CCTV systems. Mr. Killian is also responsible for coordination of landscape design, concrete and paving to address the specific needs for affordable and market rate properties.

A Certified Occupancy Specialist, Mr. Killian also holds his National (Tax Credit) Compliance Professional (NCP) designation.  He has successfully completed certification courses in air conditioning and refrigeration.  He is also an accredited lead paint supervisor in the State of Maryland.
